I have graduated from college and am now heading off to Brasil for 4 weeks. This is such an exciting time in life, but also a very transitional time for me. I most likely won’t be living in the same place for more than 4 months over the next year of my life.
But the next destination is Brasil. I am excited. I was last in Brasil 5 years ago. It’s exciting to go back, but also a little strange. I feel that I have changed so much over the past 5 years of my life and as I am sure many of my friends in Brasil have, but for me my last trip to Brasil was really a milestone in my life and the beginning of a lot of changes in my heart.
I began to fall in love with learning other languages and getting to know other cultures and for that I will also have a love for the country of Brasil and the people of Brasil and the culture there. So, I am excited to be back there, I just wish I could have retained more of my Portuguese, hopefully it will come back quickly. I am bring my Portuguese books to study on the plane.
Well…off to the airport now.
